High-Strength, Solvent-Based Grab Adhesive for Interior & Exterior Applications

EVERBUILD® Gun A Nail® Extra is a ready-to-use, high-strength, gap-filling adhesive based on a synthetic rubber/resin mix in a solvent carrier. Designed for both interior and exterior applications, it provides excellent adhesion to most common building materials, including non-porous surfaces.

Securing stair nosing to concrete or wooden stairs.
Fixing polyester, wood, PVCu, or metal thresholds.
Attaching nameplates, plastic boxes, decorative frames, wall sockets, and junction boxes to most surfaces.
Securing aluminium or other skin panels to the framework of portable industrial buildings and caravans.

Storage Conditions: Store in original unopened containers between +5°C and +25°C. Do not store above +30°C. Store as flammable goods.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. New concrete or plaster should be allowed adequate time to dry and mature.
Application: Cut the tip of the cartridge, attach the nozzle, and cut an aperture to the required width. Apply using a standard sealant gun.
Bonding: Apply the adhesive to one surface in strips or daubs. Bring the two surfaces together immediately and apply even pressure across the bond line.
Support: For heavy items, provide temporary support until the adhesive has dried.

Limitations

Do not use on damp surfaces; use EVERBUILD® Gun A Nail® Standard for such applications.
Not suitable as a mirror adhesive; use EVERBUILD® Mirror Mate® instead.
Do not use on polystyrene, Styrofoam, or expanded polyurethane; use EVERBUILD® Gun A Nail® Standard for these materials.
Heavy materials (greater than 8 kg per m²) must be supported for at least 8–24 hours depending on the size of the item.
Solvents present may attack sensitive plastics. If in doubt, test a small area first.
